My days at home are spent chasing Evelyn though the house, reading books with her, taking walks, and going to the local playground. Evee loves to swing, explore, and chase the other little ones around. She smiles and says Hi to everyone we met. Often afternoons are spent inside playing peek a boo or sometimes a second nap. This weekend my hubby and I go going away for my birthday, so I wish you all a happy Thursday and have a great weekend.

Today is my 30th birthday. I am very happy, it was a day spent relaxing inside during a cooling thunderstorm, playing with Evee after her nap, shopping for our weekend getaway, and now a movie with my husband. Hope you all had a wonderful day!

Evelyn and I are enjoying Maine with my parents and I don't want to leave. Evee and I went swimming today and she was laughing and splashing the whole time. My mom got us this float where she sits at one end and I hang off the other to paddle around. The water was cold but refreshing and Evelyn did not want to get out. Now I'm sitting with her on the porch, watching the sun set. I love it here!

We are in trouble now, Evelyn is officially walking 90% of the time. Her favorite thing is to walk up and down our hallway, knocking on all the closed doors. She also loves to "cook" for Mommy and Daddy in her little play kitchen. I am looking forward to work being done and spending my summer days with Miss Evelyn.

Sorry about the double post but for some reason my entry from the 11th did not publish. I have been busy at work, helping finish up things in the classroom. Looking forward to Monday, it being the last day of school. Evelyn and I are going to head up to Maine with my parents after that and relax. She is such a pip! Evee runs around the house: laughing, babbling/talking, and just having a blast. Today we went to a friend's pirate birthday party. It was a lot of fun but Evee got cranky towards the end due to a lack of nap. Tomorrow we are celebrating Father's Day and my Dad's birthday with a BBQ at home. Have a nice night!

Evelyn has this whole walking thing down pat. She walks from one end of the living room to the other, often with a toy in hand. Today was the first nice day in a while. I took Evee to a local park/zoo. She seemed to enjoy looking at the animals even though they were sleeping. Evee really loved playing on the playground and swinging. I love seeing smile and hearing her laugh. Have an awesome weekend.

Today is our wedding anniversary and hubby is working late. Happy 3rd anniversary to the man I love and the father of our beautiful daughter!

Rainy day today, so much for going shopping. Evelyn and I are going to hang out and play instead. Right now we are chilling in our pjs, reading some books. I can't believe how much Evelyn is growing. She walks several steps at a time now, eats lots of different foods, and enjoys playing with all her toys. Her favorite foods right now are watermelon, cheese, broccoli, grilled chicken, mac and cheese, and apple sauce. Evee loves her fruit and veggies, meat is a hit or miss with her. She also enjoys her yogurt melts from time to time as a snack. Evelyn is a lot more talkative to the point where she will have "conversations" with me or Daddy. It's so cute.
