I for one am glad to see March go. Evelyn and I are headed out west during my April vacation for a family bridal shower and spend some time with my brother. Yesterday after work I took Evee to see the Easter Bunny. She was a little unsure but I was able to coax a smile out of her. Today it is cold, wet, and gloomy so we spent the day playing inside. Evelyn is still fighting her cold, I am thankful she took a long nap. She seems to be her happy self, despite a stuffed nose. I hope Evelyn's cold gets better soon.

Poor Evelyn has a cold and is teething. She has not been her usual happy self and all. I came from work and all she wanted to do is be near me and attempt to chew on everything. I was trying to synch my phone with my laptop but Evee was determined to try and hack my computer. She even banged on the keyboard a couple of times. Evelyn is such a cutie even when causing "trouble".

Apologies, I had a really nasty head cold this week and zero energy. This weekend I felt better and took Evelyn swimming as always. Then today I had a bridal shower to attend. It was another beautiful day here. The weather felt more like summer than spring. Evee and I went out just before dinner and walked around the back yard. Now she is bathed and playing her piano while the peepers sing through the open windows. I do hope this warm spell keeps up so Evelyn and I can go outside every day!

It's a day before the official start of Spring and here in New England it feels like summer. I took Evelyn for a walk when I got home and both of us were sweating by the time we got home. Don't worry, she had a hat, sunscreen, and a sippy cup full of water. All this week it is suppose to be in the high 70s! I am sure Evee and I will be outside enjoying the weather while it lasts!

I am skipping Wordless Wednesday again. The last two days have been wonderful, beautiful, and warm. The temps have been in the highs 60s to low 70s, a rarity for early New England spring. On Monday I took Evee for a long walk and she loved looking around and greeting the other people. Yesterday afternoon it rained so we stayed in and played. Evelyn is climbing up on her toys, she is also trying to climb up on to the shelves. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Weekends go by too fast. I feel like I hardly get time to play and enjoy my free time with Evelyn. We started up baby and me swim class again this Saturday. Evee seems like the water but it was cold again. Today Evee and I hung out, she helped me with laundry, and we went for a walk. I am looking forward to my vacation in April, but at least it is getting warmer.

Evelyn has taken to "woofing" like a dog and growling like a monster. She has taken to grabbing things, including our skin, between her teeth and play biting. Sometimes she actually does bite and we have been saying calmly but firmly "No biting". Of course Evelyn is still a lovely child most of the time and we enjoy every moment with her. I've been feeling under the weather lately. Haven't been doing much besides taking care of my family and going to bed early. Last night Evelyn was up three times (usually she sleeps through or wakes up once). Although I am tired there is nothing better than snugly baby on a cold morning. Evee always wakes up with a smile, which never fails to make my day.

Evelyn's new favorite hobby is to pull herself up into a standing position. She does this using anything and everything she can, including her parents. The best part is after Evee pulls herself up, she lets out an evil but cute laugh. She is definitely loving this new skill.
