Evelyn now can easily pull herself into a standing position using furniture. I went out and bought baby gates over the weekend. She loves to explore and is getting bolder by the day. Evee loves to pull herself up on to Mommy. Lately she has been attempting to let go and stand on her own. I have a feeling she will be walking soon. I love her but I don't like how fast she is growing up.

Feb 26th, 2012

Sigh my February breaks ends tomorrow. I will miss spending time with Evelyn. She is such a good girl, always exploring and talking away. She loves to scoot around while holding on the edge of our coffee table. Evelyn's new favorite past time is army crawling up and down our hallway. I was going to do Wordless Wed. But decided to skip it this week. We have been very busy. Had friends over for dinner on Sat. Evelyn enjoyed playing with their young daughter. Then Monday we had my hubby's parents over to celebrate my father-in-laws birthday. Today I took Evelyn out shopping and then went to the gym for some playtime in the baby friendly room. The weather has been lovely and I plan on taking Evee for a walk soon. Here are some pictures from the last couple days.

In the afternoons Evee usually takes a nap. Today was no different. Except when I heard Evelyn talking to herself, I walked in and guess what I saw. Evelyn standing in her crib! Oh boy we are in trouble now.

Evelyn had a very busy day yesterday. We went to a friend's baptism (of their child) and the party afterwards. Evee didn't get much of a nap but enjoyed everyone oohing and aaahing over her. The two pictures are of Evelyn in her party dress and her pajamas (without her sleep sack on).

Feb 11th, 2012

I signed Evelyn up for baby and me swimming classes last week. She seems to enjoy the water even if she does not get the whole swimming part. Evee does enjoy splashing and "jumping in" to the pool. Evelyn has also discovered her reflection and loves playing with the baby in the mirror.

Feb 10th, 2012

Evelyn has began eating mixed baby food (meat & veggies or fruit together) and seems to be enjoying them. I have also am giving her little pieces of banana. I think I am going to try making some soft veggies and maybe pasta to try for her next finger foods.

Feb 9th, 2012

Everyone in the house has a cold. I'm feeling run down and poor Evelyn is snuffling and sneezing. However she is still full of smiles!

Evee had her nine month check up yesterday. She has grown an inch and gained almost two pounds. Her doctor was impressed with Evelyn's process, even calling her advanced. Tonight she has been very busy "talking" to her cat push toy and rolling around with it.

So this posting a new pic every day is hard to keep up with. From now on I will be posting a picture for each weekday and starting Wordless Wednesdays. Then on Sundays I will try to post two or three pictures from over the weekend. Tonight my mom is treating Evelyn and I to dinner, so here is a picture of Evee enjoying her night on the town.

Evelyn can now easily pull herself into a standing position. She is also trying to let go and stand unassisted. So far she has not been able to. I can't believe how fast she is growing!
